Islamic University Council in Babylon Holds 5th Meeting, Emphasizes Curriculum Development and Digital Transformation

The Council of the Islamic University / Babylon Branch held its fifth meeting, chaired by the Head of the Babylon Branch, Professor Dr. Haider Kadhim Abid Ali Al-Quraishi. The session was dedicated to discussing key academic and administrative agendas, alongside student affairs, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to elevate the educational process and enhance academic performance.
During the meeting, members emphasized the vital importance of curriculum development and fostering closer coordination among corresponding academic departments. The council also reviewed the implementation of general academic frameworks and specialized research plans, assessing the progress achieved so far.
Furthermore, the council reviewed the outcomes of the Digital Transformation Committee’s recent meeting held at the Islamic University in Najaf. The discussions focused on adopting modern electronic systems to manage the educational process, thereby boosting institutional efficiency.
On student affairs, the council stressed the need for rigorous verification of student data, maintaining the quality of graduation research projects, and ensuring optimal preparations for the upcoming final examinations in strict accordance with the designated schedules.
